Mensa is the world’s largest and oldest high-IQ society, uniting people who share a love of ideas, problem-solving, and lifelong learning. With members from every background and profession, Mensa is a community where curiosity is celebrated and conversations never run out of steam.
Each summer, members and guests come together for the Mensa Annual Gathering (AG)—a multi-day event filled with talks, workshops, games, and social activities. From science and technology to arts, culture, and hands-on experiences, the AG is where bright minds connect, explore, and have fun.

Curious minds meet curious locks.
At the U.S. Mensa Annual Gathering, our Lockpick Village is always a crowd favorite—where members get hands-on with the tools and techniques of physical security, guided in a safe, ethical, and eye-opening environment. It’s part of a broader mission: showing how security isn’t just about firewalls and passwords, but about understanding how systems (and people) really work.

Security Special Internet Group (SecSIG)
That mission continues year-round through the Security Special Interest Group (SecSIG), which I’m proud to chair. SecSIG is where Mensans who share a fascination with cybersecurity, privacy, cryptography, and physical security come together to explore, experiment, and exchange knowledge. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or simply security-curious, you’ll find resources, conversations, and community here.
